Abstract

This theoretical analysis examines the epistemic convergences between Carl Jung’s analytical psychology and Edgar Morin’s complex thought, demonstrating that both frameworks share a relational and non-reductionist conception of knowledge. Through a comparative analysis of Morin’s principles of dialogics, hologrammatics, and organizational recursion, structural and epistemic correspondences are identified with fundamental Jungian concepts: the Self, the Shadow, Anima/Animus, and Individuation. The analysis reveals that both systems exhibit clear isomorphic patterns of interdependence, emergence, and becoming, which operate simultaneously across multiple levels—individual, collective, biological, and sociocultural. Consequently, it is argued that the paradigm of complexity, by recognizing multidimensionality and uncertainty as constitutive elements of reality, provides robust epistemological foundations for analytical psychology, offering it a solid pathway to avoid reductionist interpretations. The articulation between Jung’s and Morin’s perspectives expands the understanding of both theoretical frameworks, opening avenues for their
